Charlie is a Nordenberg Leadership Scholar and senior at the University of Pittsburgh majoring in Political Science, Economics, and Political Science. Charlie is passionately involved in the Scout Movement, through which he has volunteered in multiple capacities, including on the National Education Relationships Subcommittee and as a member of the planning teams for the 2019 World Scout Jamboree and the 2021 BSA National Scout Jamboree, where his team is especially focused on educating scouts on compassionate leadership, inequality, and sustainable development.

Charlie is particularly concerned about inequality of opportunity in neighborhoods across the United States, especially in Pittsburgh. He intends to center his career on improving access to mobility and opportunity as a means to help narrow the racial wealth gap and root out residential and school segregation while capturing the public health, economic, and environmental benefits of improved mobility.
