My name is Eva Price and I am a rising senior in Pitt’s Nursing Program.  In addition to receiving my Bachelor’s in Nursing, I am also pursuing a minor in Public Service.  On campus I am involved in the URMP Student Researcher Program, I am a SAFE Peer Educator, I am the Service Coordinator for Pitt’s Chapter of MEDLIFE, and I am the Vice President of Pittsburgh Agents of Cultural Change.  In my free time I love enjoying the outdoors, specifically kayaking and hiking.  During this internship I hope to work with an emphasis on compassion for the individual, as well as sustainable efforts for improvement.  I really hope to break down barriers that hinder individuals with shelter insecurity and to empower them in their efforts to meet their personal goals of safety.
