Hi! My name is Gwyneth Meek, and I am a senior from Anchorage, Alaska. I’m a Biological Sciences major and political science/chemistry minor. I am passionate about every aspect of healthcare, from community clinics to public policy. At my time at the University of Pittsburgh, I have volunteered at Planned Parenthood and Magee Women’s Research Institute, and held both Business Manager and Vice President positions in the Women In Surgery Empowerment club. As an Elsie Hillman Scholar I hope to increase Women’s healthcare accessibility and inclusivity for undeserved communities within Pittsburgh.
