Madelynn Lederer

Madelynn Lederer is a junior from Glen Mills, Pennsylvania majoring in Political Science and Public & Professional Writing with certificates in Leadership and Television & Broadcast Arts. Madelynn is involved in several organizations on campus, including the Blue and Gold Society, Omicron Delta Kappa Leadership Fraternity, Pitt Dance Marathon, and Phi Alpha Delta. She has volunteered with the Bhutanese Community Association of Pittsburgh as a tutor and with Amie Academy Foundation as a grant writer. 

Madelynn’s previous experience interning for Pennsylvania State Representative Emily Kinkead and South Dublin County Mayor Emma Murphy sparked her interest in public service. Madelynn’s history working with children has led her to focus her public initiatives on issues specific to the well-being of kids. She is excited to continue her efforts for children as an Elsie Hillman Honors Scholar.
