Samuel Ressin

Sam is a junior at the University of Pittsburgh studying economics and statistics. During his freshman year, he founded a student group that works to build bipartisan agreement among students on climate and energy issues. As director of the Pitt Green Fund, he leads a student committee that funds and advises student-proposed projects that increase sustainability on campus. Sam's career goal is to enter state government and craft environmental policies that help Virginia reduce greenhouse gas emissions and build a low-carbon economy. In his free time, Sam enjoys singing as a bass in the Pitt Men's Glee Club and biking along Pittsburgh's three rivers.
