Courtney strongly believes in the value of education because it allows people to achieve their goals and share their accumulated knowledge with others. She spends most of her free time listening to music and painting if she is not working or doing homework. In her spare time she has also modeled for a coworker's clothing brand. As the community service chair for her sorority she organized the donation of book bags and school supplies to local schools, assisted with a young girls' empowerment program with the Helen S. Faison Academy, and created a teacher's appreciation event with the faculty at the school.
